The Rotary Club of Knox has a diverse mix of members from local business owners to retirees with people of all different ages and backgrounds.
There’s one common goal that brings us together and that’s the passion to make a difference, give something back to the community and help others in need.
Our members have opportunities to get involved in a number of activities that suit their skills or interests including, volunteering, club projects, fundraising, event planning, leadership roles, public speaking, business networking, mentoring, community service and more.
Most importantly, we have FUN doing it!
As one of few Rotary clubs that meet at lunchtime, our members benefit in a number of ways. For those with families, it means your evenings are free to spend precious time at home, whilst for business owners and corporate professionals, being able to step out to attend a meeting during your lunch break is a great advantage for those with busy schedules.
Day time meetings are also shorter in length, run strictly on time and generally more affordable as there’s no obligation to purchase an evening meal that comes with a night time meeting.
Is it a big time commitment? Much less than you think!
Our weekly meeting runs for an hour every Wednesday from 12.45pm at the Knox Club in Wantirna which is centrally located within the Knox area. We run to a tight agenda to keep meetings on time and include regular guest speakers on a range of topics that are educational, informative and sometimes even inspirational.
Established in 1980, we have strong core values that include Integrity, Diversity, Leadership, Friendship and Service Above Self.
