Humans In Melbourne is collecting winter jackets for charitable distribution.Ok, so it is ridiculously cold today! Winter has hit and with that in mind I am very proud to announce that our Heat The Homeless campaign is back for its 5th straight year! Over the last four years we have collected over 20,000 warm winter jackets for our friends on the streets and this will continue this year. The legends at XTM have organised for all Annaconda stores and many other stores to be drop off points! You can check this link for a full list of stores: xtm.com.au/heat-the-homeless/?SID=slgjm3kk2plb9m31j2nedlbfc6
WE ARE JUST ACCEPTING WARM JACKETS. Please make sure they are clean before taking them into the stores. We are not accepting anything other than jackets please. ❤️ This year, we will also be helping those who lost their houses in the bushfires and decking them out in jackets as well! So, what’s your in cupboard that you no longer need? A ski jacket or a warm winter coat that could use a new home?! If you bring them in we will redistribute them to those that need them most!
If you don’t have a jacket but would like to help please share this post to get it out to as many people as possible ❤️
A massive thank you to everyone who has made Heat The Homeless such a massive success. This is change we can all be a part of that has real-world positive implications for our friends on the streets. I am so proud of what it has become and what it stands for... Ok, let’s do this Melbourne!
