My Rotary

What does Rotary mean to you?

Rotary for me has been the gift that keeps on giving. I have met so many amazing people who have together, shared their time and wisdom, for me to grow as a person, as well as a group. In regard to helping the community, I have had opportunities to support at a level that would never have been possible without us standing together in our projects. Age and gender are irrelevant at Rotary, but sharing different areas of knowledge, expertise and friendship are not. With these guys, community dreams do come true.   Natalie Wild, Member & ‘Simple Steps’ Club Project Manager

I have been a member of Rotary for over 20 years and I have met many new friends through my involvement in Rotary, who like me enjoy giving back to the community through the many different projects our Rotary club is involved in.  People who join Rotary come together from all parts of the community to share ideas, work together and achieve things that would be very difficult to achieve without the help of like-minded people. These projects are funded through our regular fund raising programs, which are organised and run by our dedicated members within our local communities. Rotary is also involved in many overseas community projects, which our club supports along with many other Rotary clubs around the world.   I would recommend to anyone, who would like to make a difference, come along to one of our meetings and meet our friendly and approachable members.
Gary Weston, 2020/21 International Chair & Past President

Joining Rotary has been one of the most positive and inspiring things I’ve ever done.  It’s built new friendships and local connections whilst brining a strong sense of purpose that comes from helping others less fortunate and changing their lives for the better.  As a local business person, it gives me the opportunity to make a difference and give back to the Knox community. The personal rewards from being involved have been immeasurable.
