The KNOX SHOWnSHINE brings together car enthusiasts and vehicles of all makes, models and vintages to share their interests in a casual, family friendly and alcohol free environment.
The event runs from 9:30 – 11am on the second Sundays in October, December and February.
North Eastern Car Park of Knox City Shopping Centre (off Capital City Boulevard).
All types of vehicles are welcome including Vintage, Classic, Custom, Hot Rods, Modern & Bikes. Entry for vehicle exhibitors is $5, and a gold coin donation for the general public and spectators.
The ‘People’s Choice Award’ is a trophy presented to the vehicle that catches the eye of judges (members of the Rotary Club) and there are also lucky door prizes for exhibitors to be won.
Special theme nights are also run with selected car clubs invited to attend and allocated priority parking to join together as a showcase club for the evening. Participating clubs are promoted across social media and online marketing in the lead up to the event. All proceeds from the entry fees and sausage sizzle (if available) go towards a range of community based projects run by the Rotary Club of Knox, including affordable mental health care for young people and leadership programs for local students.
