The Rotary Club of Knox has a diverse mix of members from local business owners to retirees with people of all different ages and backgrounds.
There’s one common goal that brings us together and that’s the passion to make a difference, give something back to the community and help others in need.
Our members have opportunities to get involved in a number of activities that suit their skills or interests including;
♦ Community service ♦ Club projects ♦ Volunteering ♦ Event planning
♦ Business networking ♦ Leadership roles ♦ Public speaking ♦ Mentoring ♦ Fundraising
Most importantly, we have FUN doing it!
As one of few Rotary clubs that meet at lunchtime, our members benefit in a number of ways. For those with families, it means your evenings are free to spend precious time at home, whilst for business owners and corporate professionals, being able to step out to attend a meeting during your lunch break is a great advantage for those with busy schedules.
Day time meetings are also shorter in length, run strictly on time and generally more affordable as there’s no obligation to purchase an evening meal that comes with a night time meeting.
Is it a big time commitment? Much less than you think!
Our weekly meeting runs each Wednesday from 12.45pm to 2pm at the Knox Club in Wantirna. The meeting venue provides convenient access to residents and business owners from suburbs right across the Knox region including, Wantirna, Wantirna South, Knoxfield, Scoresby, The Basin, Boronia, Rowville, Bayswater, Ferntree Gully & Upper Ferntree Gully.
Meetings run to a tight agenda to keep meetings on time and include regular guest speakers on a range of topics that are educational, informative and sometimes even inspirational.
